Terms & Conditions of Entry

Method of entry & eligibility criteria

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

  2. Entry is open to anyone who attends the HIMSS APAC conference with a valid membership and fully participates in the “Be a Patient” campaign by The Clinician Ltd, as well as follows The Clinician on LinkedIn at https://nz.linkedin.com/company/the-clinician during the specified promotional period and meets the eligibility criteria.

  3. Full participation means the entrants must have provided their valid name, email address and phone number in order to be eligible.

  4. Entrants must be over 18 years of age.

  5. Everyone who meets these eligibility criteria will be considered to be in contention to win the prize.

  6. Entrants may enter only once. All duplicate entries are ineligible and will be removed.

  7. No employees, or relations of The Clinician Ltd employees can enter.

Closing date and time

  1. Entry opens at 1:00am NZDT on Monday 18th October 2021.

  2. Entry closes at midnight on Sunday 7th November 2021, NZDT

  3. All times stated on this Terms and Conditions are in New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT), unless otherwise and explicitly stated.

Prize details and how the winner will be selected

  1.  The prize is an Apple Watch Series 7 GPS. The winner may choose from either a 41mm or a 45mm Case Size. If the winner chooses a 41mm Case Size, the prize (Apple Watch Series 7 GPS) is valued at $649 NZD inc GST. If the winner chooses a 45mm Case Size, the prize (Apple Watch Series 7 GPS) is valued at $689 NZD inc GST. The winner will only receive one Apple Watch Series 7 GPS as the prize. The prices stated in this Terms & Conditions of Entry are as advertised on the New Zealand Apple website here: Buy Apple Watch Series 7.

  2. All valid entries (as detailed above) will be uploaded into an online random selector system (RandomPicker - RandomPicker) which will select the winner at random.

  3. No part of a prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash or any other prize or transferable, unless otherwise specified in writing by The Clinician Ltd.

  4. If a prize (or portion of a prize) is unavailable The Clinician Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that portion of the prize) to a prize of equal or greater value and specification.

  5. Apple is not a participant in or sponsor of this Promotion.

Place, date and time of draw

  1. Entries will be checked on Monday 8th November 2021 NZDT, and uploaded to the random selector system at noon, on Tuesday 9th November 2021 NZDT. The winner will be drawn from the random selector system on Tuesday 9th November 2021 NZDT.

How results will be published

  1. Results of the Apple Watch Series 7 GPS winner will be published by email, to all who entered the competition, via the email address provided when entering “Be a Patient” campaign by The Clinician Ltd.

  2. Results will be published within 3 working days of the date of the draw, at latest by 11.59pm Friday 12th November 2021 NZDT.

  3. “Working days” are based on working days in New Zealand, which are Monday to Friday, excluding Saturday and Sunday.

Method of claiming

  1. The Clinician Ltd will contact the winner directly, via the email address provided through the “Be a Patient” campaign.

  2. To claim the prize, the winner must respond to The Clinician Ltd via email within 5 working days.

  3. Once the winner has responded to claim the prize, The Clinician Ltd will deliver the prize to the winner’s work address, or provide the winner with a voucher for the Apple Store online (or an iTunes voucher) to the value of the prize – $689 NZD inc GST.

  4. The prize will be sent to the winner within 4 weeks of the closing date of the competition.

  5. If the prize requires shipping or postage, The Clinician Ltd will provide tracked shipping or postage.

  6. The Clinician Ltd does not guarantee delivery timeframes.

Unclaimed Prizes:

Prize must be claimed by the winner by Friday 19th November 2021 11.59pm NZDT. In the event of an unclaimed prize, the prize will be redrawn on Monday 22nd November 2021 at 02:00 pm NZDT via the same online random selector system. The winner of the redraw will be notified by using the contact details on file with The Clinician Ltd within 3 working days of the redraw. The redraw results of the Apple Watch Series 7 GPS winner will be published by email, to all who entered the competition, via the email address provided when entering “Be a Patient” campaign by The Clinician Ltd.
