Measuring Vitals with Medical Devices
What Patients Will Need
To monitor the key health outcomes of COVID-19, individuals enrolled in this care pathway will require regular access to the following devices:
Pulse oximeter to record blood oxygen saturation and heart rate
Thermometer to record body temperature
Individuals can use devices they already own, as all readings can be recorded manually. Devices are not included as part of this care pathway and will need to be supplied or purchased separately.
Device Compatibility and Recommendations
This COVID-19 pathway supports manual entry of health vitals.
Pulse Oximeters
Fingertip pulse oximeters are recommended and any pulse oximeter can be used with this pathway. ZEDOC is also compatible with the Rossmax SB210 bluetooth oximeter - speak to our team to learn more.
Thermometers
Any digital/glass thermometer can be used, including infrared guns.
